As a passenger on public transport for many years I have had good experiences however I have had lots of bad experiences also including people making threats also.
I do understand that public transport is essential however when passengers feel unsafe on them there is a problem and what makes it worse is when staff encourage it or mistreatment happens.
My own views on this I have been informed that bus drivers have a job to do and that is to drive the bus and not to police the bus passengers.
There has been loads of reports to police when incidents have happened.
I do not think its fair on passengers and the company running the busses should do something about it.
There have been many incidents as a result I have put a complaint into the bus company this is the third or fourth occasion where complaints had to be made.
I am awaiting a response and I have contacted the department for transport secretary via social media to find out how to raise concerns about this very serious but important issue that has affected me and many others.
